I'm Julián Gómez Acevedo, a Product Designer with a Marketing background. I came to product design from the business side, and that shapes how I think about every experience decision.
I'm driven by building products people value and understanding why. I like ambiguous problems: understanding context, defining what matters, designing clear flows, and supporting implementation. I don't stop at screen delivery.
How I think
Every project is a business problem with real users and real constraints. My process isn't a template, it adapts to context. Sometimes I start with research, sometimes with behavior data, sometimes with a conversation about what decision needs to be made this week.
Business & technology
My Marketing background gives me perspective on funnels, conversion, acquisition, and business models. I don't design in a vacuum, I design knowing every screen has an opportunity cost.
I work closely with engineering. I've built my own products from scratch, which taught me that design decisions have direct consequences on implementation, performance, and maintenance.
